HP will not make it easy for people buying re-manufactured cartridges or using CIS. Although HP OfficeJet 8610 uses 950 cartridges, it uses an updated version of 950/1. Therefore, if you have a CIS, you may want to hold on your CIS until the new version of non-OEM comes out in few months.
